Do’s and Don’ts - Microblading Aftercare
Share
Getting your eyebrows wet too soon after a tattoo procedure can significantly impact the pigment retention and healing process. Unlike traditional tattoos, eyebrow tattoos sit closer to the skin’s surface, making them vulnerable to moisture. Exposure to water, especially in the first week, can dilute the pigment, causing patchiness and premature fading. In cases of prolonged exposure (like swimming or long showers), the pigment can even be washed out completely, resulting in uneven brows. A small accidental splash likely won't cause major issues, but it's best to dry them carefully with a clean tissue to avoid complications. Avoiding water, especially in the first 10 days, is key to optimal results.
