What to Expect After Your Brow Transformation

What to Expect After Your Brow Transformation

Your eyebrows will go through several phases as they heal. It’s normal to see changes in the color and appearance throughout this process—trust the process! Below is a breakdown of what to expect:

Days 1-4:

  • The pigment will look sharp and dark, even if the initial pigment was light.
  • This happens because the pigment oxidizes with air and temporarily darkens.
  • As you follow your aftercare routine, you may notice pigment on your cotton swab—this is excess pigment and body fluid naturally leaving the skin.

Days 5-7:

  • As healing begins, the area may look like it has dandruff flakes or dry skin.
  • You might feel like the pigment is fading too quickly, but this is just superficial color and dry skin being shed.

Days 8-12:

  • Your brows might appear as though the pigment has disappeared—don’t panic! This is a temporary phase and part of the healing process.

Days 14-28:

  • Your brows may look slightly patchy or uneven as the pigment starts to reappear and settle into the skin.
  • Healing will continue, and you will be ready for a touch-up or perfecting session.
  • The touch-up should be scheduled between 4 to 12 weeks after the initial session—not sooner than 4 weeks and no later than 12 weeks to ensure proper healing.
